is that the one - Elvis was a hero to most but he never meant shit to me?

the one that made me laugh though was the in living color one where the lyric goes I heard when the king dies he was sitting on his throne

Yep. Like 'em both. PE's "Fight the Power". Saw them with Primus at Kaiser the night of the Oakland fires. Pretty heavy. Primus had just come off opening slot of Rush tour to be with Public Enemey. That's some crossover...
